The Libyan Authority for Horse Racing was established by Cabinet Resolution No.
(600) for the year 2013 AD.
It has a legal personality.It aims to organize ring horse races in the State of Libya, as well as to represent the country in international and regional forumsThe authority also aims to follow up on all the legal entities that participate with the authority in achieving its specializations, such as the Animal Production Department (pedigree record), the Animal Health Center, the Quarries Department (the movement of horses),As well as issuing licenses for passengers and trainers and issuing cards for owners.
It also aims to combat doping and prohibited substances in horse races.
